Job/Position Title: Business Banking Servicing Specialist

Job Description: Come join the largest Business Banking Division in the Credit Union Industry. We are seeking an experienced Business Servicing Specialist to assist us our business members and teammembers.

General Summary
Under general supervision, provides support to the servicing function of the Business Services Department, including commercial real estate loans, business loans and business deposits.
Job Responsibilities: Principal Accountabilities (95%)
  • Posts loan payments; remits investor payments; and processes invoice payments.
  • Processes loan servicing requests.
  • Tracks insurance on business and commercial loans; and, processes insurance payments.
  • Prepares payoff demands and processes paid-loan collateral releases.
  • Audits rate changes.
  • Completes month-end reports and similar reports as assigned by manager.
  • Handles escrow property tax processing and completes annual escrow analysis.
  • Processes business account rejects.
  • Handles stop payments, wire and debit card reissuance for members with overdrawn accounts.
  • Interacts with branches and other departments relating to business deposits, inquiries, or other issues.
  • Responds to member calls and requests.

Secondary Accountabilities (5%)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides support to other areas of the department.
  • Complies with BSA requirements as commensurate with position.
Job Requirements: Position Requirement and Qualifications
Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills. Must be able to adapt to change, multi-task, and resolve member (internal and external) situations in a timely and responsive manner.

Knowledge, Education, Certifications, Licenses:
Working knowledge of OSI or similar system, loan servicing functions, business loan and deposit products, new accounts, and entity document requirements.

Requires two to three years of experience in lending, new accounts in a financial institution, or equivalent.

As Traffic Heats up, the ACH Continues To Expand at 5%-Plus Rate
Transactions on the automated clearing house network grew 5.4% in the second quarter, the second straight period of 5%-plus expansion for the 40-year-old system, which reaches virtually every financial institution in the country. That's according to numbers reported by NACHA, the organization that regulates the ACH.
